Day 2 - Malaga

Sail on to the region’s capital, Malaga, for a complete change in ambience. A lesson in reinvention, the restored historic centre is an absolute marvel, with every corner drenched in an overwhelming sense of Spanish culture. The city has a well-known ‘mile of art’ and a skyline broken by brick-red rooves and eccentric church spires that stand out between the lofty apartment buildings. Climb to the top of Gibralfaro, an 11thcentury castle, for the best view out across the city. For more exceptional views, head to Restaurante Amador for a truly elegant dining experience.

Day 3 and 4 - Alicante

Continue eastward and dock in the Port of Alicante. After a longer cruise, spend two days relaxing in a region that has been described as otherworldly. Offering the full range to holidaymakers, from sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife to historic attractions and great food, Alicante is one of Spain’s main tourist destinations. The wide esplanades are the perfect place to relax on a café terrace or take an afternoon Mediterranean stroll and come evening, El Puerto and El Barrio are among some of the liveliest spots and are extremely popular in the summer.

Day 5 - Valencia

Valencia is Spain’s third-largest city and is bursting with Mediterranean exuberance. With a flourishing restaurant scene and a wealth of striking architecture, there is endless exploration to be done. To escape the strong sun, dip in and out of some great shops and dynamic museums dotted around the centre or sit outside in the shade to experience some of the best paella on earth, cooked up from scratch as you order, using local ingredients from the surrounding ‘huerta’, a fertile fruit and vegetable farmland.

Day 6 - Tarragona

As Spain’s second most important site for Roman history, Tarragona is a true gateway in time, offering plenty of mosaic-packed museums and a seaside amphitheatre to fill your afternoons with. The air is often filled with the smell of freshly grilled seafood so for restaurant recommendations, just follow your nose!

 Day 7 - Barcelona

For a final splash of Spain, take the short cruise up to Barcelona, where you could easily spend weeks soaking up the incredible architectural wonders and the fabulous culture. On your visit, be sure to seek out the whimsical creations of Gaudi and the sculptural masterpieces of Catalan Modernism. Take your Sunseeker out for a sunset cruise and dive in to the beckoning deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. Then dry off and get ready for a late evening of drinking and dancing as you head back to streets transformed by live music, with brassy jazz and rapid flamenco rhythms that flow up from Barcelona’s basements and keep your feet tapping throughout the night.
