Our office is located in Porto Montenegro, next door to the Capitanerie and some of the most famous shopping brands in Europe. The nearby Regent Hotel offers exclusive 5-star luxury accommodation, along with spa facilities and direct access to the recently completed Yacht Club – with a stunning 64m infinity pool overlooking the harbour. Despite the steady stream of five-star hotel openings and the many affluent visitors, the coastline remains typically rustic and the locals are particularly friendly.

Montenegro has been regularly voted one of the most attractive yachting destination in the Adriatic. The recently completed multi-million pound Porto Montenegro marina is now widely regarded as one of the best in the world. There are some 450 berths within the port – with a dedicated superyacht quay capable of hosting yachts up to 250m LOA. Furthermore, the port offers tax-free fuel and provisioning of certain items such as alcohol making it an attractive stop-off for yachts heading north to Croatia or south to Greece.

Not only is Montenegro a place of natural beauty, but the country is steeped in rich, cultural history. Whispers of the past breathe through the extravagantly painted Orthodox monasteries, churches and the wondrous mosaic floors of the archaic Roman villas. All with their own story to tell. As you lean against the strong walls of the fortresses within the ancient villages, you can almost feel the many battles that have taken place fighting over this beautiful land. In the evenings, breathtaking sunsets transform the shimmering blue water to beautiful golden hues and highlight the cream stone villages, making them even more striking against the mountainous backdrop.

Montenegro is not currently a member of the EU, which makes it a popular gateway for non-EU nationals looking for a base to keep their motor yacht and cruise onwards into the Adriatic and Mediterranean.
