One of the reasons that the Balearic Islands has become more and more popular is due to its longer boating season. Typically, the season begins in Easter and doesn’t finish until the end of November, but it often continues on right the way through the winter months! This gives boaters enough time to explore all the lovely bays around the island, with sparklingly clean waters which appear wonderfully light blue, making it perfect for swimming, snorkelling and other water activities! You can also find romantic caves with the most turquoise water and even more romantic sunsets. The Balearics Island is really the perfect destination for the whole family!

Furthermore, the city of Palma, the so-called ‘pearl of the Mediterranean’, has changed considerably, thanks to city planning and extensive renovation measures in the old town, with several new 5-star boutique hotels, chic Mediterranean restaurants and exclusive shopping areas. Today, Palma is more beautiful than ever, with a Mediterranean flair that can be felt in every corner. It is no surprise that in 2015 The Sunday Times named it the world’s best place to live.
